We Service Queensland and Interstate

To maintain continuity of work within the growing workshop, it was soon necessary to branch out from local industry and start providing services to larger companies based throughout Queensland and interstate.

One of the key benefits to this expansion was the continued development and experience of our local workforce. This in turn has allowed us to provide improved service and capabilities to our local industries, such as Nestle Australia.

Fabrication Services

The natural progression for the business was to start providing fabrication services to maintain a steady flow of work in the workshop. This proved to be very popular with local tradespeople, many of whom were traveling to mines in order to secure permanent work. The added benefit to CPM’s many clients is the low cost of fabrication in a local workshop with low overhead expenses.

As workshop experience and capacity grew, the next step was to begin training our own apprentices. We put on our first apprentice in 2006, and have since grown to maintain a level of 5 apprentices and two school based trainees consistently.

Being able to provide engineering certification was also a natural progression for CPM. Through the years we have developed several relationships with structural and mechanical engineers for all the various projects we undertake. The consistency and volume of our work has allowed us to source very reasonably priced engineering from experienced Registered Professional Engineers (RPEQ’s).
